John
John Woolfitt, Chartered MCSI, has been a member of the CISI since 2006 and brings almost two decades of specialist expertise in Contracts for Difference (CFDs) and leveraged trading. As Director of Trading, John has played a central role in shaping trading strategy, developing risk-management frameworks, and delivering a high-performance trading environment trusted by both clients and partners. Throughout his career, John has built a strong and recognised market presence, regularly contributing insight on market behaviour, product structure, and trading psychology.
His achievements include leading the rollout of advanced trading tools and analytics, enhancing execution quality, and implementing client-focused initiatives. John’s leadership is defined by a commitment to clarity, discipline, and professional standards. He has guided trading teams through periods of heightened volatility, supported continuous trader development, and helped build a culture rooted in integrity and high performance.
